Android download

Step 1: Download map

Note: You can save maps on your device or on an SD card. If you change the storage method for your maps, you will need to download them again.

Open the Google Maps navigation app on your Android smartphone or tablet. Make sure you have an internet connection and are logged into Google Maps. Search for a location such as San Francisco. Saving offline maps on an SD card

Offline maps are saved to your device's internal memory by default after downloading. Alternatively, they can be saved on an SD card.
