Error UPS

Error! “Service is not available for this country. Please change the entry above and try UPS Expedited or Express instead of Standard”

It may be, as described in the error, that you have selected the wrong service. If you are sure that this cannot be the problem, then check again that all the data has been entered correctly. It is easy to forget the house number, for example, which needs to be added. If the customer does not have a house number, enter a random number in the price query. Important: Don't forget to remove it again when creating the parcel label.

Error! We had trouble communicating with the carrier: The request is not well formed

This is a problem with the interface. This can happen if there are updates to the interface. As a rule, these are rectified very promptly.

Error! No phone number

You have not yet entered a telephone number. Enter one and if there are any other problems, please contact us in the ticket forum.

Error! No pickup could be created. Reason: We had trouble communicating with the carrier: Missing or invalid ContactName

In this case, please contact us and write a help ticket. The contact person of your pickup address does not seem to have a format accepted by UPS. A single word per field (first and last name) is permitted. Problems usually occur here, as the contact person is, for example, first name: “Hans and Gerda” last name: “Winery". We typically replace this with first name: “Family” last name: “Winery". Please let us know your preference.

Error! No pickup could be created. Reason: We had trouble communication with the carrier. Missing or invalid company name

In this case, please contact us and write a help ticket. The company name of your pickup address does not seem to have a format accepted by UPS. A company name with 27 characters, including spaces, is permitted; special characters are not permitted. We usually adjust this for you after registration. Please let us know your preference right away.

Error! No pickup could be created. Reason: No Pickup days available for this location.

This error message appears when ordering a pickup via UPS if the following day (working day) for which you are requesting the pickup is a public holiday. It is only possible to request a pick-up via UPS before a working day.

Error! No pickup could be created. Reason: We had trouble communicating with the carrier: Sorry, we are unable to service your pickup request on the day you have selected

This error message appears when ordering a pickup via UPS if the following day (working day) for which you order the pickup is a public holiday. It is only possible to order a collection via UPS before a working day.

Errors DPD

DPD: Incorrect activation code

This problem can occur for various reasons. Please contact us so that we can arrange for the password for your MyDPD to be reassigned.

Error! We have received the following error from DPD: generalShipmentData.recipient.name1

Please check whether you have used special characters. It is best not to use special characters in names, as the system does not always recognize them.

Error! No stamp could be created. Reason: We have received the following error from DPD: The postal code has an invalid format. [0167-> NL-5301, features: [NP]]

This error occurs when the address format is incorrect. Here is an overview of the formats specified by DPD, available by country.

Error! No label could be created. Reason: Length of data for field does not fit: generalShipmentData.sender.name1; “Your winery” > 35

The error message indicates that the sender name of your winery is too long for DPD. The number of characters is limited to 35. (The sender name is usually shortened automatically). Write to us in the forum and tell us how we should change the sender name.

Error! Unable to enter selected combination

This may be a shipment that is served by air cargo (e.g. Canary Islands). DPD air cargo is not served with our conditions and is therefore not possible.

Error! No stamp could be created. Reason: We have received the following error from DPD: The combination of user and password is invalid.

There is an error here which we must pass on to DPD. Please contact us if you receive this error.

Error! No DPD depot could be determined for your sending address.

Error! No label could be created. Reason: We have received the following error from DPD: The service combination is not possible.

These are often addresses on German islands. If you remove the consignee's email address from the parcel label creation screen, you can create the parcel label as normal. The reason for this is that DPD does not currently offer shipment tracking on German islands and this is automatically requested by the email field.

Error DHL

Error! We had trouble communicating with the carrier: The request is not well formed

This is a problem with the interface. This can happen if there are updates to the interface. Usually these are fixed very promptly.

Error! No phone number

You have not yet entered a telephone number. Enter one and if there are any other problems, please contact us in the ticket forum.

Error! No tag could be created. Reason: We had trouble communicating with the carrier: Invalid XML: cvc-length-valid: Value ' with length = '0' is not facet-valid with respect to length '14' for type '#AnonType_billingNumberAbstractShipmentType'.

Shipping with DHL abroad is not possible. Please use another carrier.

Carrier dhl does not support pickup requests.

It is not possible to request a pickup from the program for DHL. Please read the corresponding section of the article Pickup.

Error! No tag could be created. Reason: Unable to authenticate at carrier. Please contact shipcloud support.

The error message “Unable to authenticate at carrier” indicates that DHL has reset your access data and therefore shipcloud can no longer access the contract information.

To avoid this problem in the future, please log in to the DHL business customer portal and create a new user there.

Error! No label could be created. Reason: Error in Shipment Data: Please enter the type of shipment. Please enter the shipping costs for customs clearance.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer international shipping with DHL. The price query is basically possible, but at the latest when creating a parcel stamp, the customs documents are requested, which cannot be implemented at the moment.


Errors in general

Error! There are no parcels available for collection.

Error! No label could be created. Reason: Description of Goods is required for this shipment.

Please fill in the field “Description”.

Error! No pickup could be created. Reason: Error! Receiver: company can't be blank.

This error occurs if you want to create a return label but have not filled in the address and contact details under System - Documents - General.

Error! No stamp could be created. Reason: Authorization system is currently unavailable.

If this error message occurs, please contact us via the help forum. This is a problem with the configuration, which can be fixed by our team.

Error! No label could be created. Reason: Missing or invalid ship to StateProvinceCode.

This error message appears when addressing customers in the USA, unfortunately our interface to the carriers does not provide this addressing. Unfortunately, the only option here is to manually place a parcel with the carrier and pay there.

In some cases, however, it is simply due to an incorrect address. The abbreviation of the federal state must be entered after the city with a space in the customer file, otherwise you will automatically receive this error message.

Error! No label could be created. Reason: Packages description can't be blank.

If you select the “Returns” service when creating parcel labels and want to assign them to an order, this error message will appear. An assignment to a specific order only takes place if the label is created directly from the order (via the parcel symbol in the order or under Documents in the order under “Parcel labels”). According to the error message, you must also make sure to enter something in the “Description” field.
