After you have created a test account for Winestro.Cloud, you automatically start in the "Sample Winery". In this "Sample Winery", all the data is already available for you to explore and try out everything in the program. Once you’ve tested everything in the software and feel comfortable using Winestro.Cloud, you’re ready to get started with Winestro.Cloud.

But note that switching to a new ERP software is a top management priority and not just a side project. Every employee who will be working with the program should thoroughly engage with it to ensure a smooth transition.

Getting Started with the Program

To start with Winestro.Cloud, you must first leave the Sample Winery under System - Backup by resetting the System auf den Werkszustand zurücksetzt. There are two different options for this:

• Keep settings >> All data is deleted except for System - Settings and System - Documents.
• Reset everything >> All data, including settings under System - Settings and System - Documents, is deleted.

Now there are several options for switching to Winestro.Cloud, depending on your old business structure:

"I don’t have any data that needs to be transferred"

In this case, it is sufficient to leave the Sample Winery, enter your account details, go through your settings overview and set up documents and expenses, and then input your customers/items (including stock). This option offers the most flexibility, as no data transfer will take place that you need to adjust to. Once you are ready, you can start independently.

"I only have a few customers and items that need to be transferred"

In this case, you can carry out the data transfer yourself using a self-import. Hier you can see how to import data (such as customers or items) into the program. Be sure to leave the Sample Winery before starting the self-import. Also, make sure to enter your account details and review the overview of all settings and documents. This option is also flexible, as no data transfer will constrain you. Once you’re ready, you can begin independently.
